Established in April 2011 when around 170 riders and partners signed up for membership on our launch evening. We were based at Lakeside Harley-Davidson, in South Essex, right next to the Dartford Crossing, giving excellent accessibility from Essex, Kent, and London. Unfortunately the Dealership closed in September 2020, however we will continue as a H.O.G. affiliated Chapter with the full support of H.O.G. keeping our Lakeside Chapter Great Britain name.

As we are so close to the M25 we are not so far from most of the areas in and around Essex, London and Kent, so we aim to draw our membership from a wide area.

As a Chapter we look to have “Ride Outs”, every weekend and one week day in the summer and most weekends in the spring, autumn and winter. We have travelled far and wide from the top and tail of the UK, into Europe, also the USA. Our calendar page shows all the ride-outs, rallies, events and meetings.

We have a closed Facebook group. To access this you need to be a Chapter member, which of course means you need to be a H.O.G. member. You’ll need a Harley to do that of course, so if you haven’t yet got one of those don’t miss out on the best ride of your life. If you are a Lakeside Chapter member you need to be logged in to the website to gain access access to our Facebook and Instagram media.
